Have a 1970 Duster and need to address the front floor pan on driver and passenger side. Car is back halved so only need front 20 inches from the front seam back. Or..... I can patch. From the seam back would be easier I know, but much more money because Id have to buy front and back. Seems my options are limited because I cant seem to find Front half patches to the firewall seam. Or am I not looking in the right places??? Thanks in advance for any help or advice!!!

Is the full 20" bad? I always try to asses what is rusty and remove as little as possible. Makes fab'ing a patch easier.

Trying to get info on Ebay panels. Always Leary about EBAY stuff. Lotsa knowledge to tap on here so gave it a shot. Main question im trying to get answered on Ebay is if pans they have go to front seam or is the front a butt weld.

Are you worried about originality correctness or resale value?

It’s a back halved car. Nothing original left. Lol. Just want it clean and solid. thanks.

I bought 2 off ebay about 10ish yrs ago, they were kinda generic , and did go to the front seam, which I welded solid all the way across. They took a little more fitting than some people like , but worked out well, just wish I`d have ground/smoothed the under side welding up a little more , figured , ''whose gonna look under it anyway'', at the time.

Thanks Bob. I checked out a few on EBAY and asked if they went to the seam. 3 vendors had no idea. It doesnt give you much confidence buying. Hate to do it but i may just bite the bullet and go for the AMD's and try and sell the back half i dont need.
