Anyone else cutting their own hair.

Back when I went off the college and had NO mney,I had a comb with some sort of blade in it, I think they called it a trim comb. I used that for years. Wish I had one now!
Only thing I have is an electric horse clippers with 40 surgical and a general ish #30 blades. I would prefer it to be cut about 1/2 inch or so, but.....

Not yet but it's time, I enlisted the GF to do the honors. It's funny, when I had longer hair I could get away with once every eight weeks or so. Now that it's shorter (half inch) it only goes about three weeks and I look like a resident at the homeless camp. It's been six weeks now, and it's growing in every direction. I look like Dagwood. It can't be that hard to do, basically we're just mowing it all the same length.

Regular hair trimmers would be a lot easier than my beard trimmer. I tried using a handheld mirror while looking into my bathroom mirror and I was all screwed up. Every move I made was the wrong direction. Ended up using the bathroom mirror and going by feel.

True, and I even have a regular set of hair trimmers. I just haven't seen them in about ten years. Like a lot of things, it it's not right under my nose, I tend to get a bit fuzzy (HAHA) on the details anymore. Too much sheltering in place.

I have been cutting my own hair with the clippers for 20 plus years. #4 and done. Don't forget to put the guard on first.... Ask me how I know.

Bought clippers a month ago, normally #2 on sides and finger length on top. Wife refused so I let the daughter have at it. Turned out fine for me, wife not happy. It will grow back and we will try again. Daughter is 12, I wasn’t disappointed, just hair

I did this.....thought I was good....lol
Wife finished it up properly

If off work, you have p l e n t y of time.

Use tweezers.

I told my wife to buy a set of clippers if she saw a set a 3 weeks back, before the toilet paper hoarders moved onto hair clippers.

My daughter decided to give it a go. Minor bald spot above my left ear, but not too bad for a Poilitical Science/Communications graduate!

#4 all around.

I think I'll get her to do it from now on and spend the haircut money on my Dart and Bug instead!

A few years ago I dyed my beard and hair and my son thought someone was breaking into my trailer at the track. He ran over and it was me. Lol.

I rubbed my hear down with lighter fluid, I decided it smelled better than #2 diesel, lit it off. Worked good but I burned the tops of my ears. Top of head came thru well, must ne hard headed???? Wife asked why not just shave it off with the machete. Smart ***! Told her I had a good sharp meat knife right there in the kitchen. Women!!????
