Probably it was to be used with a open chamber head, and that guy sold it to this guy. He’s got closed chamber Indy ez heads, and I’m just the idiot that got stuck putting it together.
I’m talking to the Napa delivery guy who’s a ex excellent machinist. He was the main guy a couple super stock guys used for decades, He’s like that’s gonna be close, but one of the best engines I’ve seen run was close, I Like it!
It runs damn good, and has a nice pop to it.
