I hear of people running HP manifolds in there big block a bodies. Would some have pictures on the driver's side? Wanting a good visual . exhaust pipe would be nice also.
Thanks
Jim

We are running B-body HP manifolds in my Barracuda and my son's Dart. Both cars have a 440. His has a four speed and mine has a 727. I didn't get pics of the head pipes, but recently modified a pair of TTI head pipes to fit. They are really close and will work with dimples and dents, but I chose to cut and reweld to fit.

Yeah, it's tight (might be able to fit a single sheet of 20lb paper in there...). The setup in my son's Dart has gone around 35,000 miles without a problem. Hopefully it will be back on the road by the end of summer. I've got to get the top end on the fresh short block and several other things. Looks like I've got time over the next couple of months, though.

Hey Jim thanks for helping with pictures and info. It will be a while before installing my motor. My motor is a 383. Where would I expect clearance problem? On the exhaust flange or in the concave area?
I am not talented in measuring with motor on the floor.
Thanks again for your time

Not to hijack the thread but, will any specific B body manifolds work better than others?

Low deck with manifolds fits better. The '68-73 HP manifolds fit best. You can use the RARE '67 440 HP manifold with a low deck, BUT not with an RB due to the clocking of the flange.
