DO THEY SELL A BBP DRUM FOR THE 1.75 BRAKE SHOES, OR ARE THEY ONLY SOLD WITH A SMALL BOLT PATTERN. I CANT SEEM TO LOCATE ANY , DIDN T WANT TO HAVE TO RE-DRILL A SBP SET IF NOT NECESSARY. THANK YOU

There is no such thing. Most people change the brakes to 11" from a C-Body when going to big bolt pattern. You can pretty much use any big bolt pattern brake set-up too. Why stay with the small brakes?

wrong guys.
10 x 1.75 BBP drums were used on slant six equiped B-bodies like a 67 Belvidere

Thanks for the info , I have a 67 Belvedere /6 with same drums so I know I wasn’t crazy in thinking they didn’t exist , The belvedere is my daily driver so I can’t steal the drums off of it unfortunately lol . Maybe I’ll get different backing plates to accommodate the wider drums I have if I can’t find correct ones

But the real question is, what is the offset? Because the BBP axles all have the same flange offset. Which is different than the SBP axle flange offset.

So if the OP has SBP axles that have been converted to BBP and wants to use his SBP backing plates those drums still probably won’t work.

Same backing plates.

I have no idea what the project is.
Agree that if the axle flanges are further out, then the 10 x 1.75 unlikely to work out.

Probably the easiest to work from the most difficult to change, the axles shafts, and figure out what drums would fit best.

So initially i was just trying to get the vehicle rolling with what I had, the axles were sbp that had been re drilled for bbp, so I plan on buying new BBP axles from doctor diff, will I have to change the backing plates ? to accommodate wider drums ?if so what backing plates will I need to change to? thank you

Hey guys so I installed new axles . so I now have BBP axles from doctor Diff, I’m using 10 backing plates from a 66 b body rear end, do I order brake drums and shoes for the 66 bbody 10x2.5 ? Or is something else’s needed due to the use of dr diff axles. Thanks In Advance

I know this is an older post but I just learned this that is very cool. These brakes were also used on the 68 Hemi Darts and Barracuda’s

Check with Cass at Dr diff.

But if you have bbp backing played and bbp axles that were built to bbp specs then bbp 10 X2.5 should be the ticket.

The issue come in with SBP backing plates and BBP axles
