70’ Dodge Dart won’t start

Take the plugs out and put your finger over the number one hole. And turn the engine over by hand And when you feel it creating pressure keep turning it till you get all the way to the top. You can use a tdc stop tool but I use a screwdriver. Just be careful not to wedge the screwdriver in the piston.
Let me clarify the screwdriver is just to feel the location of the piston. do not rotate the engine with the screwdriver in the plug hole!
