Maybe. I bought this kit a few years ago and then the whole project sat idle for years. I just found on there website where it talks about it. That's my bad. I'll modify the crossmember like they recommend.
Ah okay, that makes sense. If you leave a project sit for a few years then it is hard to remember all the little stuff like that. It is also easy to lose instructions and misc parts like nuts and bolts. My Duster sat in the shop for 7 years until I finally got around to working on it. I had to go thru each box of parts and lay everything out so I could remember what I had. Good luck with the project, good to see that you're making some progress on it now. Keep plugging away at it.
