Geese Rusty, put some Armor All on those seats Rusty. Thanks for the Poly Motor Mount info.

Looking great Rusty, congratulations!
I loved driving my 170 3 on the tree for almost 7 years.

Lookin' good! How can you not like it when the cat approves?

Lookin great. Is your glass out for paint and headliner? Hard to see in the pic.

Yes. I removed it for rust repair, which is now finished. Waiting on the headliner guy to come down from Atlanta.

You're certainly welcome. I cleaned them big time today. I am going to treat them with mineral oil and let that soak in. Hopefully it will soften them up. They have some more life in them if I can get them soft again.

I got some baby oil and went over the seats real good working it in. They softened up pretty good and have a nice shine now. I put a lot of it on there and am going to let it sit and soak in. I used some coco butter scented baby oil because I cannot STAND how regular baby oil smells. lol

Looks like a red metallic steering wheel, so cool.
I have a red Superior 'The 500' waiting to go into my red interior and I can't wait.

It is. It's a Moon Eyes steering wheel.

Rob that’s looking sweet, came all long way last I seen it when visiting. Where is the thread for the long rod slant six you where going to build for it. I can’t wait to see it all come together. Best part it’s going to a perfect driver for You and Kitty.

This is it.

Slant Six Solid Roller Camshaft

It's titled Slant Six Solid Roller because I was going to run a solid roller camshaft. I figured out how to get it done, but it's just out of my budget. I am still going forward with more than one build for the car, but I just don't know if I can bring myself to tear it apart. It runs SO good like it is. Only time will tell. lol

Better wear your seatbelt or you'll wind up on the passenger side.

Believe it or not, a lot of it soaked in overnight. I'm gonna put another coat on it.

Got the rear window channel wire brushed out and painted it with wait for it........Rustoleum. lol Then I cleaned the package tray really good, ran some scotch brite over it, cleaned it again and painted it with wait for it........more Rustoleum. lol Pictures to come.

Rob, when you do your rustoleum. do you use the rusty metal primer they sell or just go over the bare metal? I want to do my inner fender wells after I get it cleaned up. With the semi-gloss black.

Nope. I get all of the loose and flaky stuff off clean it up real good and have at it. The industrial oil based rustoleum is direct to metal and doesn't require a primer.

Got the rear window channel wire brushed out, the package tray cleaned, prepped and painted. Once that's dry, I'll cover it with Killmat. Also got my rear courtesy light harness run. Going to tap into that and run some wires for a trunk light, too.

Yo, brother, your favorite color wouldn't be red would it?

Actually no, it's green. But the little car's interior is red. I began with the red steering wheel and it just keeps lookin better and better. Although like the floors, the package tray red gets covered in Killmat. I wanted it red "just in case" any metal showed through, plus I had some left. lol I still have a whole gallon for the under side of the car. When I am done with this, it should last forever.

Nice work those seats are killer. I'm jealous I wish mine where that nice.

I was very fortunate there. The little car I got from @AbodyTim had them with it. The covers you see have been covered over the original covers. They are much better than what I had.
