AFTER MARKET GAUGE RECOMMENDATIONS

-
I wanted something definitely made in the USA but a little different so I went with Speedhut Revolution Series gauges. All of the gauges have a settable warning light features. The tach is also programmable to light up as a shift light.
All gauges (except for the speedo) have a 270-degree sweep with 'zero' at the 6-o'clock position.
And I did a little custom logo printing on both the speedo and tach.
Sorry, no pics yet - my Dart was just painted a couple of weeks ago so it's going to be in "assembly" mode for a bit.

I'm liking the speed Hut stuff. They give you .alot of options and looks like a quality product. I like the the 4 in 1 style but if you have a problem with 1 you have to remove the whole thing.

here are the pics of my oboys guages. please keep in mind that it is a 65 coronet that has a flat dash. i put the guages in a 64 fury dash and installed them in the wagon.

I'm not setting up to do a full dash makeover,
But I got a few Glowshift gauges, volts, oil pressure, and tach.
Tach is in a pod on steering column, volts and oil are under the dash in pods, with my LC-2 air fuel gauge between.
I got the 7-color tinted ones. each gauge has a little button where you can cycle through the different colors.

Way back when I still had OEM stuff I put a
Glowshift volt gauge in under the dash. It would change colors when lit up.

I used these guys simply because I bought my harness from them. Electric oil and factory type water temp sender. 90 ohm gm type fuel level though. Done fine so far, about 1200 miles.

Does anyone make an aftermarket gauge carrier for 67-69 Dart

Yes-ish but you need to cut your frame and it only covers to the radio, so if you have a GTS or Full dash including the glove box it will look out of place.

I've been trying to figure out a solution to add at least two 3-3/8" tach and speedo and 4, 2-1/6" gauges retrofitted into (or onto) a stock gauge panel . Its tight. The Speed Hut gauges look to be the best to use as they are shallow.

Thats my problem. The carrier I made looks unfinished and you cant get larger gauges

Mine will do that to. Seven colors, and a setting where they will fade from one color to the next, and another setting where they change colors without the fade.

I just managed to kill an Autometer oil pressure sending unit on the 410 in about 3k miles. Drops below zero at idle the as soon as you give it any gas it pops back to normal. May remote mount the next sender.

Nice dash. I think for right now its a toss up between Autometer and Speedhut. I see your in Nampa , I have a brother in law in Boise ( Meridian) hes the manager at Petco in Boise

Thanks. Yeah they are both very good companies. That's cool, yeah I work in Meridian off eagle road.

Is that a digital or mechanical gauge?

It’s the electrical, the resistance readings on the sender unit are off now. It’s supposed to be around 250 ohms with 0 oil pressure and now it’s reading open. Probably engine shake took out the sender.
