been intriqued with the Poly cylinder head the first time I paged thru the LARGE DC manual. Soo, one followed me home today. Resisted taking it apart right away cause you know it takes up 3 times the space. Now I have all generations of the A engine and 4 decades of them,65,73,85 and 96.

Did you know a LA stroker bottom end will drop in? I know a guy with a 318 poly stroked to 390 in a 65 Coronet. 450 ft/lbs on a flat curve on the dyno. Loads of potential.

yes. talked with Bruce Toth Friday, he has a stroker pump gas model with 514HP.

I pulled one of those out of the 64 Belvedere wagon I fixed back around 2001, and a 440 took its place. I tried to give it away for months with no takers. It ended up at the scrap metal place to get it out of my way. :(

There is a fella named Gary Pavlovich, who seems to be taking those things rather seriously.

That one I mentioned, he got one of the raised runner intakes - CPPA? early on. I'm not sure if they are still cast. IIRC, they were not cheap, buy that's business - supply/demand/cost.
