Carb recommendation help Slant 6

Well as far as carb goes i scored the deal of the century in my mind. I was cruising through an estate sale digging through some tools in the garage when i happen to spot a holley poking its little fuel bowl out of a box. Picked it up and wouldnt you know it list 8007. The old mans widow said she'd take $25 dollars for it and i told her id give her $200. She wouldnt take it and argued with me for 20 min on the price. We finally settled on $50 and a smoked brisket. I feel bad because she wouldnt take my money but im gonna give it a shot if i dont like it ill buy an edelbrock and maybe give someone the same deal i got on the holley.
