Ordered the new flexible tranny cooling lines today and hoping to get the front and rear glass rubber ordered next week. Should be on the road next month but not putting any interior in it till I drive it around a bit and make sure I have no water leaks, rattles or wind noise.
Not that I can here a thing without hearing aids but will have someone in the car that can hear. lol

Rocker chrome is next to clean up but gonna use bed liner on the rocker panels below the molding.

Rechecked all the nuts and bolts on the front end and rear end so making sure nothing falls off real soon. lol
Doing cavity wax on the inside of the frame rails and rockers next. Well when I have some extra money to buy it.
Breaks good and tight gonna do a homemade front end alignment real soon so at the point of :wtf: am I forgetting to do?

I think after trying to feed this wire through the inside of the trunk lid for my elec. trunk popper I came to the conclusion after a 1/2 hour I need some guidance on getting the damn wire in the hole. was there before when I bought the car and someone was smarter than me. Pored me a whiskey and 7/up to make me smarter but still can't feed the wire in, I tried running a fencing wire down but NO GO. HELP!!!

Crown waiting for ya.

Got some solid copper electrical wire and snaked it through and got the wire in finally.
Took to stiff drinks to get it but was worth every sip. :D

Nice! I was just about to escape to the the garage to see if I could find the trick for running that cable in one of my books but since you figured it out I'll have to go back to watching American Idol with my wife LOL. Hey that seems like a highly optioned Scamp with the sun roof and all. Did it have or are you putting AC in it?

It had AC but not putting back. Glad you got books I worked on the old cars back in the day but can't remember to much. lol

I took my AC out and still am on the fence on wether to keep it or not. It's on the shelf above my car in this picture. It's gotta be well over 100 lbs. total of dead weight. Lol

Nice garage buddy love to get pictures of what everyone is doing.
Would love to get together someday and see your car.

hi fred,
did you load the suspension before you locked down all the bolts? if not when it's back on it's wheels all the bushes will be twisted and it'll seriously shorten their lifespan. i'm sure you did but thought i'd mention it just in case.
cheers, neil.

Was nice to have the garage door open for once and able to ventilate the shop.

Hope you guys don't mind the simple things I'm doing getting my car done but I'm really bored here.

You are almost through! I have enjoyed watching your progress and have done a truly amazing job. Joe
