Hey guys,

Here is the original header panel that was on the car when I bought it. As you can see, it has a huge dent! Question is can this be fixed? As in fixed like you would know it ever had a dent. if so any idea what something like that would cost to fix if I took it to a body shop? I purchased a replacement header panel already but I am curious So I can figure out what to do with it.

If you can get to the backside that should be easy to get out.

That looks like hammer and dolly, slap file, and heat shrink work to me. I know people who make that stuff look easy, but I aint one of 'em!

If you already have a replacement, get some body tools from Harbor Freight & try your hand at it. Just take your time & don't go gorilla on it

Well thats the thing, I would love to try fixing it myself but if I screw it up I could potential ruin a piece that could have been saved for someone else if I sold it. Ill hang on to it and use my replacement and Ill mess with it later down the road

Easy fix. Probably cost $500 or $600 up town with paint. I'll do it for $380

Great suggestions so far, I have a dent in my fender that's similar; one constant I love about these cars is the body work is straight forward, ain't nothing to it accept to do it. Then many hours later, where did the time go?
