I've seen some but cant seem to find any pics. Anyone done this- ideas as to what mods to make it sleek?

If you like the looks of the 70 Coronet body style, go for it.

Have seen a few , only one looked good and dont remember why, most looked funny--------------

Just sandblast the bumper, spray it with a good epoxy primer, then paint it body color. Should hide real well

Always wanted to ditch the bumper and brackets for weight loss, but didnt. This car does not have the bumper, so I'll probably try it. Only ideas I have now are to add some material to the 4 small indentions on the top of the bumper grill pan and maybe use some sort of wire mesh/screen on the opening. More ideas? Pictures?

When I had the 68 Barracuda in drag race only mode I removed the front bumper and made some simple aluminum covers for the grill openings. I had some good success with the car in that trim.

I'd fill in the bottom of the header panel, then it might look alright

fiberglass bumper , swiss cheese the orig bumper brackets , that way you`ll have less problems making it fit and look right -------

a good option...............make that top header panel straight all the way across!

If I end up with the car and make the top of the opening match the bottom, then I guess if I install some grate/mesh in the opening that I could paint some 'teeth' on it- maybe cloudy/murky/ghost like teeth, nothing real obvious?

Enter a thumbs down for me , I did that when I was 17 -------------

I was kind of kidding about the teeth, but do like ones I've seen w/out the bumper. Im excited to finally see the car again tomorrow- its been at least 9 yrs. Still looks good in the pics! Will be my 7th MID GENERATION BARRACUDA- only one was a Fastback.
