I'm replacing the heater core in my '64 Barracuda. I've done this many times. I feel like I'm missing a bolt/nut for removing the thing tough because the box won't come out. I removed the four nuts that retain the blower motor plate. I removed the support rod from the passenger fresh air chimney. What am I missing?

I'm not sure if a 64 and 66 are the same. And mine is a factory air box. I just did it not long ago and I'm trying to remember.

I pulled the glove box to get to the electrical connectors and cables. There is a nut on the top left of the box.

Also on the firewall, I think there was a couple of nuts towards the center that had to come out. One, for sure.

That's all I can think of.

So turns out I was correct.... there are no more bolts holding the thing in. Just the four nuts around the blower motor, the screw between the heater hoses, and the rod in the fresh air chimney. The problem was the seal between the box and the chimney.... it was just hanging on. Thank you for those who posted input on this.

Another question... I wonder if someone can confirm what cable goes to what actuator on the box. I believe mine were hooked up incorrectly to begin with.
