I thought that the trucks would have the A833 4SP O/D in the 78 to 84 time frame. Two trucks I found in Denver had 4SP trans, but they were not A833's. I could not identify what they were. Totally unfamiliar transmissions with side cover plates on the passenger side. Nothing like an 833. Any ideas what trans was used? Both trucks were Dodge D100's. Totally baffled by this. I thought Mopar only used the 833 during this time. I did check both trans's and they were 4sp's.
