I’m not new but.... I got my childhood car back.

It has been a few years since I last posted anything but still been grazing the forums now and then. When I joined this forum I had a 75 Dodge Dart sport that I was swapping a 440 into. It was a ugly ducking with lots of rust, but I was enjoying the slow process of putting it together. Until.. I was grazing the Facebook market place when I come across a baby blue 74 Plymouth duster that looked really similar to my car that I bought when I was 13 and restored back to like new. My 18th birthday I was finally able to drive the car. Loved the thing. I wrecked it a year later jumping a 10 ft drop in a ditch trying to avoid a deer. I was told the car wasn’t worth the price to fix the frame. I sold the car and thought she was used for scraps. I always looked for the car since then when I got older and had more money to buy it back. But never found it. Until now. I’m 33 now and now my first and childhood car is now sitting in my garage and will never let it go again. I will admit I cried when I bought it and put it in the garage. I restored the paint she was all faded so a good buff job brought the paint right back. Also fixed a few vacuum leaks on her also so went ahead and painted the engine also. The duster was only driven 4000 miles since I owned her last 15 years ago. She runs Like a champ and brings so many memories when I drive her to work.

Nice Duster. I'm a little partial to that color (B1 Blue Sky) since that is the color of my 73 340 Duster that I bought new.
