Did you try to turn the rubber pad 90 degrees. All the one I’ve ever seen the long side runs top to bottom, short side is front to back. Like the driver side mount in the other photo.

It took me a bit to figure that out lol.
And now I managed to rip the mount biscuit apart during the install...yeesh. Oh well, I heard Mancini sell them.
