Thanks guys for the suggestions, but I am not wanting to run a slip yoke driveshaft in a big block drag car. With the engine sitting back I am just not interested in using the full length 727 tailhousing and I don't want to get rid of the governor, or I would just go ahead and buy an A&A shorty kit. I assumed when I posted this that someone would have converted one by now. Really wasn't wanting to machine a new shaft, but it looks like that's going to be the plan going forward.
