I swapped in my a500 into my dart, which originally had a 904. However the slip yoke from the 904 does not fit the A500. I thought they interchanged?

What's slip yoke should I be looking for?

Dang it. I was hoping to have my driveshaft cut this week. I'll have to call him and let him know I don't have the right yoke and ask how he wants me to re-measure.

When I did the A500 swap I got the trans out of the local Upick it yard.
I took the yoke with it and I'm glad I did.
A new yoke cost more than the entire transmission with the yoke on it.
You might want to put up a wanted ad for one.

If I just ask for a 727 one, I should be good, right?

Update: I called the driveline shop and he said he had one for a 727, so I bought it for $30 and it worked perfect, slipped right in.

He didn't know what year it came from, so maybe a later one? Anyway, thanks for all the help! Driveline should be done this week.

Kimmer is correct though. The splines will fit and are the same count, but I have read that they are not cut the same. One is more rounded splines while the other is squared off more.
