The availability of what drill bits that you can find may influence you in what size you select.
Common sizes are:
3/32=== .0938
7/64=== .1094
3mm=== .1181
1/8==== .1250
9/64=== .1406
I did the 3/32 and the 1/8

Well, drill bit selection did end up coming into play.
I had a .099, so that put me right in the middle of the range for the 1-2 shift.

On the 2-3 holes I found a bit in my collection that was .128 which was perfect except it was so dull it wouldn't even work.
My next bit up, was a .135 which is the top of the range so I went with that.

Got the rest of the Transgo kit finished up and the valve body is ready to go back in the transmission. Except for the part throttle body which I should have on Tuesday, and that will only take a few minutes to install.

Mine shifts and drives fantastic. Should have done it a long time ago.

Awesome, I am doing my shift kit right now. Do you know what rpm your trans shifts at in D at full throttle?
Wondering if I should mess with the governor on mine.

Not at full throttle but I def like it’s firmness and it shifts later than it did when stock. Not sure you’d have to do anything with gov pressure but I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. The kit has you drill different size holes in the intermediate plate for later shift points if I remember correctly.
