Hi my friends, it's been a few months since I joined, and I was asked to post some pics of my old fish. Here she sits as is. My upstairs neighbor was kind enough to build me some blocks. The third pic shows all the rear widow glass chipped away and waiting for the new window, and the last pic shows all the glass vacuumed up and dumped in a cat litter box.

As you can see, she needs some work, but the body is pretty much rust free except some minor surface rust on the body, and one spot on the trunk, and a little surface rust in the spare tire cavity in the trunk, and some minor bondo issues, she has no major cancer anywhere. That car was built like a tank! I still have to replace the rear window, the rad, and get through the starter problem. The car only has 66,000 and some odd miles, but I'm sure she'll start and run well. When all the major stuff is all done, I want to put on Crager or slotted mags and have her painted the same blue as the interior. All the front end parts are in the shed, and I still need to get some missing trim and badges.

Very cool! Don’t see that many in those colors...I parted out a 66 Formula S those same colors and it also had a dark blue stripe! Sadly it was completely rusted, the 4-speed went in my 66 Valiant and the other parts all went to good homes. Your car looks solid...those rear windows are heavy, get help dropping it in place!! My dad had 3 of those windows from ones he parted...still has 1, gave one away for free...and the other he couldn’t give it away so he put it in a box like yours lol

I hope that you find a decently priced or even free back window for your car. Lord knows there are enough of them around. I swear the people own back windows from the barracudas that never own the cars because they thought it would be valuable someday.

I actually do have a back window. My brother found one for me. found one for $230 I just have to get it since he lives about 2.5 hours from me. I have family and friends who are supportive of my project.
