remember when they were <$5 a kit? I bought an ugly Jaguar as a kid in 1/48 and it was ALL WHITE, not even any chrome pieces. Must have been a higher level model because there were about 6 sprues of parts in that little tiny car kit. I thought it was funny that my Dad was visibly upset when I showed him the kit as it was way too hard for my skill level. I built a huge model of the General Lee, maybe 1:12? It was about 12" long and had little spark plug wires! That was really cool, even if you were not a DoH fan.
