Well... It is sucks!!

Feel for you my friend. I have broke a front windshield putting it in. Bites to say the least.

Just a little info, front windshields are 2 layer laminated glass with a sheet of plastic in the middle for safety to hold it together if it breaks. These will shoot a crack across the window if you chip the edge of the glass when installing it, but they stay together.

Back windows and side glass are tempered glass, that will go into a thousand pieces from a B-B gun or some other hard object hitting the main glass.

Was looking over the rear glass photo to try and see some sort of point of impact. If you can see an impact point, it may help you to determine what went wrong.

Whether it was an external force, a slight chip in the edge of the glass that gave it a starting point with the pressure of a tight fit making it let go. Don't know if chrome trim may have nicked into it either ???

Would be nice to have some kind of idea what happened, so you can get the next one slipped right in.
