I did all the measurements before installing the glass and it is all square. The seal installed on the glass for over a week before installation. Don't really know what happened...
Was that a brand new rear window rubber, or the original window rubber ??
Those original window rubbers can be pretty hard after 50 years of time, putting undue stress on a new glass that maybe fits into the old rubber just a little different than the first glass did.
