Just for conversation purposes @318willrun dual quad 318 got me to thinking with any given setup what would make more power a six pack or dual quad? I have always been a huge fan of six packs its just a mopar icon. Iv always wanted to have one. Curious to see what you guys think.

With both properly set up it's splittin hairs.

That's kinda what I was thinking too but I wanted to see what people thought. I figured it would be an interesting conversation lol. Me personally I would do a six pack just because of the legendary moparness behind it lol years ago when i had my barracuda it was gonna be a 6 pack. My screen name on cuda-challenger forum was 6pac2go. Lol

Nothin wrong with a six pack. They are super cool.

It's why I went "under hood" dual quads. BEFORE there was a mopar 6 pack, mother mopar was slapping Dual Quads on engines in the 50's..... But hear me right, I like 'em both.

Just remember that "back in the day" when "two fours" was somewhat popular, "we" didn't HAVE some of the super nice single manifolds and big carbs we have today. Of course, there WAS that damned old 3 barrel, but it was kinda a weirdo. And there were no big 2 bbls like the big triples, the 425HP 427 Chev or the Mopar sixpack

Friend of mine once had, and I later had, a little tiny 2x4 setup off a 283 'Vette. He took adapters and ported it all out, and put larger AFB's on it. It originally came with WCFBs which are tiny

Build it! 6 packs are cool, and why not a 318?

Without question, a single 4 barrel is all that's needed to go fast.

Right now six pack intake manifolds are not made now. You will have to source out a used one. Otherwise, you could get away with a dual quad a lot quicker and easier and cheaper at this point only because the six pack is it made. People are asking big money for them on eBay.

You can get a Weiand tunnel ram brand spankin new, use twin 600 AFB’s.

So true, the last few years at Carlisle the cheapest six pac small block intake I saw was $1500

Twin 4s can be cool and how much pain do you want?

I owned a car with 6 singles, not fun...

How about a tunnel ram, I think they out perform both the low rise 2 four setups, and the sixpack. But all three are timeless, badass setups!

Ahhhhh, the old Offenhauser trick..

The dual plane 2X4 or what 318WR has are really good torque makers. 318WR has s gonna like it.
