Time for some big block heads.

View attachment 1715522721 Well these heads have been sitting around since I wrecked in 2010 when they ran 8.42@160mph in my Daytona. They were on my 572 that was built for my B1 heads so they ran ok but were out of steam for the last 300 foot or so. In 2013 I bought some 2.250 Manley valves for them and put them on my shelf. In 2015 I flowed them on the bench I have now and did some touch up work on them but again stopped after flowing them telling myself the stock 2.19 valves are coming out. They go to the shop tomorrow to get the valve seats cuts for the 2.250 valves so I can see how close to 400 cfm I can get. Here are the numbers when I ran 8.42 in mid summer at Keystone

.200——139
.300——203
.400——250
.500——291
.600——326
.700——347
.800——365-375
My old bench and my limited knowledge to control speed and lack of being able to check speed left these heads in a turbulent position. Running a .850 lift roller cam she was petering out.

Like I said I hit them again December 2015 and picked up some but stopped till I could get the bigger valves installed

.200———146
.300———214
.400———267
.500———308
.600———354
.700———361
.800———363

2010 as ran. I’m going to edit this to say it was ran with the lower numbers posted up top.

Interesting , thats what my victor knock offs flow at .600 .
No more than they go up from there , I`d probly not twist it up much higher , and change to a hair shorter gear , just fo grins----------
