A little about my upcoming Youtube channel

-
So, just so I have this right.....it's gonna be some old fart (you) with no humor, no hot chicks and no boobs? Is that about right? .....and you want us to watch?

Things are coming together, and almost ready to start adding content as I got my audio/video equipment together now.
Audio should be good and clear with no changes in volume from being at different distances from the camera.
We tested it yesterday evening and it looks like it will work nicely.

Now here's where I think this will go at first.
I'll do an introduction video with how I plan on doing things for now, and then probably one on our own cars, first with walk arounds and a little more detail about them just for some practice on using the equipment and to show that we do actually have hands on experience with automotive related work.:D

We will have no music during the video's and that may change later, but I will not have background music that ends up coming even close to overwhelming the voice audio.
If anything it will be very light.

There will be no fake drama or screwing around trying to be funny, just to the point discussion of what we are doing in the video's.

Descriptions of parts or other related things being explained will be done in layman's terms so as to be understood by people just getting started in the hobby.
This may be boring to some, but I feel this is where most of the online stuff is currently lacking.

Currently we will not be going on expensive excursions, Junk Yard hunting or "Barn finding" as this is not the point of this channel.
In the beginning anyway, we will be doing light but in depth explanations of parts, functions of them and what makes them work the way they do and why.
We will also be kicking in some things only learned by experience, that one would probably never find in a book but make a job on a person's own vehicle easier and/or safer.

I don't have a big expensive shop or tons of expensive tools and most of what I do is done out of doors, so it should line up pretty well with most of the low budget beginner or mid level hobby type auto enthusiasts.

That's about it for now, and I am looking forward to getting started.
Thank you.

P.S. If you would like to follow the channel and don't know what the name is check out my avatar.
Beast, help me out I am new to this.
I go to Youtube and search for what?

I gotta tell you a quick story about a Youtube instructional video I saw awhile back.
Short version is, I saw a video posted about how to disassemble and reassemble a large cap HEI GM distributor.
Now I know those distributors well enough to probably dis and re one with my eyes closed, but figured I would check out the video so maybe I could get some "do and don't" ideas from it.
The guys gets all the way to putting the button and coil back on and puts the button upside down, with the spring on the rotor and the carbon button facing up to the coil.:wtf:

Then he continues to screw the cover down over the coil and of course it won't seat, but he screws that sucker down all crooked with gaps all around where there isn't screws.
So basically he put it back together where it could very well destroy parts and cause a break down on the road.
When I saw him put that in upside down I got disgusted and changed to a different video.

A small over the ear clip microphone works best. The mic is always the same distance from your mouth, no matter if you turn your head, move around, whatever.
Even a clip on mic on your shirt can be problematic if you turn your head to work on something, or scratchy sound from your shirt rubbing it
Each time you double the distance from the mic, you cut your volume in half.
A wired mic is effective, but can be a tangle issue if not addressed correctly and a Wireless is nice, but the transmitter/receiver system gets expensive. Be careful if you buy those used, The FCC sold off certain frequencies to the cellular industry and that becomes effective in June or July I believe.

Wanted my g mail account , dont have one ----att.net -------

Something isn't right with that because you don't have to have a gmail account to see youtube content.
If you did want a gmail account it is free at Gmail.com and I actually highly recommend people have more than just one email.
If nothing else it can be used for when someone requires an email address but you would rather they didn't have your ATT.net address.

I left a comment on one of your videos to make sure it was working after I subscribed.

Well, if you look below, plenty of guys are subscribing to it, so I guess some of us are going to watch.

But some boobs wouldn't hurt... lol

Yea, wouldn't hurt any of you guys.
Question is, where do I get boobs without me getting hurt?

AND, before I go breaking **** on my car doing burnouts and donuts for you guys I'm going to start a Go Fund Me account so y'all can help pay for the repairs.
I'll throw in the labor free.:D

UTG is good, but I do have my reservations about it as well.
I can't quite put my finger on it though.

Been going through some camera shortcomings and video/audio quality solutions and finally got sick of trying to make do, so I bought a Gopro Hero 8 black with accessories.
If nothing else I'll have good quality video and sound. :D
Now if I can live up to it with interesting and useful content.
I do know I won't be running around a bunch of cars out of breath acting like an OCD case though.
I hope most of my stuff will be up close and very specific, and be in terms any new car person can understand.

Maybe because it's sooooo old hat? (a shave and a hair-cut would go a long ways too!)
