Working on modern Mopars

I have a 06 Charger with the 5.7 and I've put almost 100k on her in a few years. Almost at 242k now. For me personally, it's simple; still a pushrod V8, but with more "eyes" (sensors) to keep an eye on. Still easy access on most if not all things. Yeah you have to remove a few more plastic pieces, and the little plastic retainers get irritating when they break. But general maintenence is easy.

I will say that modern Mopars really only like the OEM electrical stuff : part store quality stuff is a very big hit or miss. And a fair warning about 06-10 Chargers, that body style is notorious for eating suspension parts. I want to say that improved it in the 11-14 body style but I'm not sure. And please, don't buy a 06 R/T.... They had batches of PCM failures that shut the entire car off while you're driving. Ask me how I know!
