F**k that site im done with them. I asked a question on paypal & it came up that since this person is not a business & a privet seller that there is not much they can do. I have yet to here from anyone from paypal. I think I was scammed. I have dealt with many guys & gals, bought & sold here on FOR A BODIES ONLY. You all are awesome. Never had any problems. So I am out headers & my money. I like this mopar site. You guy don't put up with that ****. Ok time for some coffee lol You all have a good one

If you are buying off a FB ad you are taking a big time chance. There’s no recourse with FB

There's always the guys local PD as well.
First warn him that you intend to do this if you don't have a working tracking number within ( ) days.
A thief is a thief no matter where he lives or how the deal was made, and his local PD is obliged to do their job in their own jurisdiction when a report is made.

Talk with his local PD.
No joy there complain to his local DA about the PD not willing to do their job and the supposed seller both.

Most times this has a motivational effect on the seller.

Why don't you contact "Racerhog" aka Bob (Cowboy) Hogan. I've had some interaction with him about a dead beat seller a year or so back. He helped me get the parts I paid for, but were never shipped. It's just a suggestion, I haven't been on the site in quite a while.
 
Paypal says im **** out of luck it was a personal transaction not for goods or services. I know his name & email address & that's it. Tried looking him up on mopar forums & I cant find him. Maybe its all BS Once bitten twice shy lol His email address is under someone elses name.

if it charged you 3%, call again. you're protected.
 
I had the same thing happen to me. It is internet fraud. The F.B.I. handles complaints.
It only takes a few minuets to fill out the form.

Get in your car and visit him. I'd spend $1000 to get $100 back....it's the principle.
 
I had somewhat of a similar issue with an engine build I had contracted. Dude stole all my parts I had shipped to him and refused to return them. I called his local police and sheriff and they basically told me tough ****. I lost about $500 worth of brand new parts. Hopefully someday karma will come around for him.

I shipped a J.R. dragster motor ups. Ups lost the motor! I insured it! I messed with UPS for months. Never could get my money! I finally got enough of their bs and called the Better Business Bureo!! Had my money in 4 days Thur usps !!!

I kept trying to register with UPS but I get no where. I spent 1 hr on the phone with credit card co and finally I just got cut off. The co I bought from does not answer nor reply to emails. It was just a $40 item, but the co and UPS both suck, and the co!!!!! lol So IF I reorder this stuff from another co., that makes me have $80 in a gal of neatsfoot oil that is worth about $25 IF I could find at a local store that carries it in a gal and not higher priced pints!!!! Rant over
 
sorry to hear this Cawley. There are a few members here and on B bodies that have 3 or 4 totally different names. What I mean is: this is just an example: let’s say his screen name is Rob Roy. Looking for a lca. U message him , then he messages back: Thanks Sam. We strike a deal: Johnny Walker sends his info. Then he PayPal’s u. Jeff Black. They have bought from me with no problems. So I send Jeff Black his parts. Some ppl go to great lengths to maybe not hide there identity but make it a little harder to find them for whatever reason. Kim

yea I hear ya he has one name a diff name is his email address & then when I sent him his money it came up a third diff name

How far do u live from him ?
I got screwed over by robmac out of nebraska when he wouldnt make good a set of rocker arms he sent me that weren`t machined at all . If it werent so far away I`d arrange to kick his *** .Never trust the ***** , and I hope he reads this !!
