Super stock springs ?s
I posted this up from my thread on the SS Springs and the blue lines and writing is for may E-body.
Every one like 02/03 SS Spring on there A Body..........Many have used them on there OTHER bodys mopars as well:D .
If you want the highest *** end lift and the stiffest ride........us the 02/03 ss spring.
If you have a manual transmission, US This Spring!(if your going to do any kind of racing) If you want a ss spring for mostly the street and a little bit of drag time(and you don't' mind the gangster lean:wtf::D........ consider one of the "Auto Trans springs.
Forget about how much your car's weight for a minute and look at the Spring rates......... An auto 3000 pound car has a spring rate of 125 lb/in where as the manual 3000 pound spring is 160 lb/in (02/03)
This means that it will take a 125 pound on that spring to lower it 1 inch. the same for the 02/03 spring as well as all the maual springs that will require 160 pound on the spring to lower it on inch.
If your just wanting the *** end up in the air for tire clearance then just us two Left spring or 2 Right SS Spring of your choise.
Personally.........if you just need tire clearance i would go to a spring manufacturer and tell them what you want. You will get the height and a much better ride.
