Hey guys i am at the end of my swap and last part is getting driveshaft cut. I went from a 225 with a 904 and 7 1/4 to now I have a 340 with 727 and 8 3/4, I will measure but just want to ask to see if anyone knows the approximate size and how to measure correctly. Also will the old driveshaft be fine or do I have to get new one made? Thanks guys

I have the same set up in my 69 Dart. But I’m not home to measure it.
Alright also I'm wondering with my new leaf springs I put on the eye bushing is the smaller one is it a good idea to upgrade to the 5/8 bolt and bushings?

I just parted a 72 340 4 speed Duster that had the 1/2” bolts in the front. It held up for 48 years.

Factory it's right at 48" C to C.

1/2” bolts are fine. I mistakenly used 1/2” bolts in 5/8 eye bushings for years, no issues, drag race only car.

I guess a 833 in a Duster makes for a longer shaft. The one I took out of it was 48 1/2” mol C to C.
