Hmm. I was wondering the same thing on the new roller lifters. Was planning on something like the comp cams XR 280 R. Are the issues less with milder cam profiles. Are the mechanical rollers less problematic? Thanks
In a street performance engine I would not run a roller tappet, mechanical or hydraulic.
They are not worth the extra money.
You can have a custom grind flat tappet cam that will offer up excellent performance for a lot less $money.
