Stop in for a cup of coffee

I just don't know to prep for it or not. Thinking even if it happens will be a smaller amount of people. Pretty sure the border wont be open, so that's a chunk of my customers, prob 10%. Last year I turned down a ton of rebuild prepping. Coin toss I guess.

Still up in the air.
Talk about still up in the air...last night I was called to the basement. She was standing in front of two car show trophies the 55 has gotten the past two years for Best Interior. She looked at me and asked "And why do you want to change it"? I told her we won't twice there...haha. Looks like I still have some work to do.

Was spaying the muriatic acid yesterday. Tell you what it works, even strips the paint out of the corner seams. Just have to be careful with it. Got a small sprayer just for that. Dollar store $5. Nice little sprayer actually.

So way back when, we were drywalling a guy’s basement. His cousin was helping. Got to talking about names. His was Mark. Being of french descent, said he would prefer to have his name spelled with a “C”.
I said “who the hell would want a name like Cark??”
Guy were laughing so hard they had to stop working...Cark wasnt inpressed though...
25 years later i still call him Cark:lol:

At least his name wasn't J B....

If you want to find out what the phrase 'what's that clickin noise' means, play it from the start....

I know it’s not a Mopar but you should post a pic and we can vote

Not familiar with the muriatic acid, where do you buy it?? When your done do you have to wipe the area, or spray it down??

Any hardware store. Mostly used for concrete, but works fantastic on light rust. My cowl area is a mess where the fresh air box is, pretty rotted. Not to sure how I am going to fix it, actually thinking the upper half of a coffee can and panel bond, no room/material to weld it and no way in hell am I taking the cowl off.

Any one ever see a Laysons paper catalogue? Pretty impressive has more stuff than classic by far. Free just order one.

Old school cool
Thanks, I'm fighting an up hill battle here. This car she considers hers. She doesn't like a Tri-Five with a big custom interior, especially tan. Look at them next time 95% are tan interior. She wants an interior that looks different from the others. I've tried to convince her this shop can do that.

Well I'd better go get that Mothers Day card for wife out of truck and sign it, don't usually get her one but found a good one "from husband".

Hardware store. Never used it to strip paint. Cleaning concrete mostly. Removes rust. At the antique shops we used it to strip the silver off old mirrors

Yes he can.

Hey any one know of a local machine shop (CNC) that can run a bunch of collars out in a run for me?

Yes he can.
Well it might take both of us to convince her. I had her look through his pics last night, and she thumbing through at record pace. I asked aren't you even looking, and she replied she was looking for the right interior with our colors...haha!! I told her I was trying to show her the craftsmanship, and she says 'Oh ya, looks nice" There was a door panel she did see liked the color, but not the trim. I told her he can do it anyway you like it.:BangHead::BangHead:

Just an old pick up interior. A rat rod Cameo that won the GM design award at SEMA.
