I’m looking into getting an EFI system for my 440 Duster.
I’ve heard a lot of good and a lot of bad about all of the brands and just want to hear some more opinions.

I’m really looking into the Holley Sniper system, but have heard that some of them are affected by some sort of interference?

Thanks

all the systems can and do have issues with interference. have to be real careful when wiring it in order not to get that interference.

I run a sniper on my dart and installed one on a 440 in a Ramcharger I used to own. Great product, just be careful running signal wires. Keep them away from spark plug wires, alternator or other high EMI producers.
Holley has a lot of good how to videos on their YouTube page. Here’s one on the donts of wiring.

I have a Fitech 2x4 1200 PA system. I love it. Starts and idles without touching the go pedal and is very responsive. Like the others have said, be careful with the installation and shield the wires good and everything should work great.

FAST 2.0
THE GOOD
fast 2.0 , comes complete w/ everything , great customer support , no looking and buying other stuff to make it work , absolutly no interferance if done like the directions .
None of the problems I`ve read about other systems on here.
THE BAD
More geared towards a GM product------
Expensive , self tuning pretty rich , easy to tune from the drivers seat tho------------
David Page at fast/compcams was great to talk too -------------

FAST Xfi sportsman here,no complaints. Completely tunable, even for low vacuum installs.

Just installed the Holley Sniper and Hyperspark system...have not started it up yet,,,waiting for the rad to come...super easy to install though, looks great too.

Fitech 600 horse EFI on my Dart. Had a lot of EMI issues on my supercharged engine. All of the wiring was stuffed behind the supercharger. My engine would run and then just shut off like you turned off the ignition. I would get a RPM Noise error code. I have since removed most of the wiring from my engine compartment. I ran all the wires through the frame rails and made a panel that has my Mallory ignition box, voltage regulator, starter relay and 2 fuse blocks one switched and one un switched and mounted it under the dash. No more issues.

Whatever you get, spend the $ on the fuel system, charging system, wiring.

I got a tanksinc tank, in tank pump with AN fittings, braided PTFE, pressure gauge, upgraded alternator, fusebox, circuit breaker, hubs, grounds, etc.

INTERESTING , I DID HAVE TO GO DOWN IN CAM SIZE TO GET MY MAP READING DOWN FOR IT TO RUN RIGHT --
mine has been on for about 8 yrs. , probly some updated programs since then.

I'm running 8"hg vacuum with the iac centered (counts). Rich Nedball (fastman)sent me an initial program based on a crate 502 GM. I adjusted the fuel and VE. tables from there

I run a Megasquirt MS3X that I assembled from a Kit i bought from DIYAutoTune. It has been on the car now for 5 years and I have been real happy with it. I didn't know a thing about EFI when I started to build it. It is one of the best things I have ever done to my car.

If I were to buy a throttle body kit I would buy the holley sniper setup, seems like the best value.

Well after days of research, I ended up ordering the Holley Sniper system. I can’t wait to feel how my car is going to perform. I’ve been fighting this edelbrock 800 for so long, I finally just said screw it.
Supposed to be here sometime this week!

He said it was a marine application, just to get it running and then tune from there. Either way it worked well enough to tune with. The VE tables were fat, adjusted them down and got it to idle at 14:1AF. I run it at 13.8:1 all day with out loading up and great tip in response.
