Where is the best source to purchase valves
Springs
Retainers
Locks
All race quality
For W2 econo heads
Which use stock length 340 or LA valves.

I get a lot of my stuff from Summit but double check your valves. If stock they are probably 3/8 valves.

ask krooser he knows how to schrounge parts
what cam to pick spring
highly recommend +100 chey valves and beehive springs with their light retainers
what rockers?

Once you have the cam selected the cam maker will provide the specs needed for the cam. With the specs you can pick a spring from a quality supplier or from the cam company themselves or through Summit. PAC, Crower, ... quite a few good selections out there.

I have cam in hand
Mancini should be able to spec it all for me correct ?

The cam company should list springs for the cam. If they did not provide it then look it up if available on line or call them with the part number or serial number of the cam.

sure just call mancini or hughes
you have a cam but don't say what
why be hard to help
give the details and you do a little leg work and save a bunch

If you don't have any experience specing the springs and hardware go by the cam manufacturers recommendations.

You don't need high end springs like PAC but you don't want to buy the cheapest no name stuff you can find either.

are the heads 3/8 or 11/32" valve guides? with 11/32 do go chevy +.100" length. it is also good to check with cam makers on what spring load they want-measure your open and closed dimensions-then get help choosing springs etc

I got in touch with Shane cam manager at Crower where my cam came from and he is going to put me a package together and some options
I like Crower products.
