Fuel Pump Eccentric Delete

Quick, stupid question from someone new to an electric fuel pump. I have the timing cover off my 340 to replace the gaskets, and I just put an electric fuel pump on the car, eliminating the mechanical pump. At this point, I no longer need the fuel pump eccentric and would like to remove it.

I know you can have cam walk if the bolt isn't tight enough, and the bolt does torque correctly without the eccentric, I just want to make sure that it won't cause a balance issue or if I need to add a washer or something similar to take up the thickness that the eccentric used to provide.

Thanks!
