Plane crash kills friend of mine

A good friend of mine was killed in a single engine Beach Craft yesterday 11:30. Luckily it went down in a backyard and no one else was hurt. I’m sure this was done by my buddy on purpose to avoid injuring anyone else. RIP.
 
Yes he was alone. He was my age and had just recently bought the plane. He was also into bailing out of perfectly good planes with a parachute. He had over a 1000 jumps. I use to tease him about testing fate.
 
Here are some of his 4 legged friends he brought over to swim in my pond. He loved White Shepherds.

I am saddened by the loss, yet somehow honored by his sacrifice to avoid taking other lives in a desperate situation. A man with the soul of a hero.

I am I rotor wing guy by trade, in Florida doing fixed wing training. Every time you go up, you take a chance. It is a serious business. I have lost friends in combat and in peacetime.
