Those big metal drip pans are a dumb waste of money. A big sheet of cardboard from an old appliance box works just as well, is more easily moved out of the way, disposable AND free.
well, since my girl is a recycling specialist by day, throwing out oil soaked cardboard isn't an option around here. i have those drip pans and they weren't that expensive. definitely much more environmently friendly.
