I think that's my first one. I won't be like a dead democrat. I'm voting only once.
That's a good one. I was really debating my last one I was down to 318willrun, j par, jadaharabi, rainy day auto, and moparmandan and I went with moparmandan it just has a nice ring to it to say.

I miss that name. :(

It always brought to mind a rainy summer day in the garage working on a-bodies with both garage doors up. Hearing the rain in the background while the radio is blasting tunes and I'm throwing out the occasional cuss word, lol.
I'm still rainy day auto on FBBO and FCBO :)

Carved from Plymouth Rock, gotta be an A body.

Ben Drinkin so rusty won't be nervous anymore
Rumblefish cause thats what they do
dartfreak75 for starting it all
Thanks man!
You just tied it up between ben and rusty haha

I'm not over there I may have to join just to go say hi to her. Haha I joined the for trucks only and noone is ever on there it seems.
Sounds like you need to buy more cars.

You can NEVER have too many cars. If I won the lotto I'd buy out a museum. I used to bullshit myself and say " this is the last one " everytime I bought another one. Now I don't do that and openly admit I'm going to buy more because that's what I do.

You need some Falcons.

Funny you say that because in the beginning of my car obsession.... in the very beginning I almost went ford. I was very close to buying a really cool maverick.

I ended up buying a duster instead, my very first duster which was a 74.

I think the maverick was a 71 and they were almost the same price. My dad said either car was good but I think I went with the duster because I grew up around my dad's cuda which is a 69 A56 340/4 speed that he bought as a used car in 1972.

I never forgot that maverick and it would have opened a new world. Ford is my absolute second choice, I really like ford products, even their newer offerings, except the gay *** new electric mustang SUV they are talking about, ewww.

Ford has always been my 2nd choice. My everyday driver right now is a Ford lol.

I always thought rainy day like saving your pennies for a rainy day. To me it meant some one to bail you out when you got into a difficult position. I like princess valiant too cause I had a prince valiant haircut back in the 70's but I miss rainy day. BTW theres never too many car, just not enough space.

I agree with you on this one, Rany Dart 70, Rainy Day Auto, Princess Valiant, or whatever user name you are going to come up with next time around......lol
Yeah, too many cars and parts isn't enough for me and I lied to myself 20 years ago and sold off a lot of my good projects and parts only to get a second wind and replaced them all........sort of.
They were orphans and just followed me home, so I allowed them to stay.
A museum sounds good to me, as long as it has a junk yard and a building with more projects.
That would make me happy.

I never was into Fords because I just never knew much about them, but I like them.
It was almost Chevrolet or Olds for me, when I bought my first car which was a '71 Dart Custom 4 door with a 225 slant 6 and automatic, on the same lot was a '70 Chevelle that was beat to crap and rusty.
It was a toss up between the two, and I went with the Dart because it was in good shape and rust free.
It took my $700 tax return from my first good paying job and another $100 to get it insured and plated, and was a great first car.
I was 18 and dumb, but I made the right choice for sure.
We're talking the spring of 1981, and a year later I bought a '71 Demon with a 318 3 spd standard on the floor and I've been a Dartnut ever since...........

@RustyRatRod. Did someone say falcon? I have em all, 2 darts, 2 fords and a Chevy. The falcon is one of my favorites. And RRR gets my vote for best user name. Only because it seems to match his personality well. @turbofreek is my second vote because if I could I would steal his name. Have to think about the third one.
