I called and talked to Rob at Cold Case for a good bit of time. Sounds like the next step is to dump the Evans and try 50/50 with a t-stat again. Evans even suggested trying a 70/30 water/coolant mix to see if that get temps under control. Once I get the temps in check I can get some miles and on this new motor and efi setup.
For decades the folks in the racing world have used just distilled water and a bottle of water pump lube. Ran it in a Trans am car for 3 years never had any issues.
Very cheap and the best heat transfer you can get.
