What aftermarket shifter?

You can retain your stock shifter and just weld a small tab on the edge of the “D” gate that will prevent manually over shifting into neutral. Very simple and lets you hit it hard into D from 2nd.

With any aftermarket shifter you’ll have to use a cable from the shifter to the tranny.

I did figure I would need a cable too.
I didn't know about modifying the stock one.
