I have the 1905 AVS2 manual choke and I faked the factory choke system for the “correct” look.

I tapped the holes on the AV2 2 carb body where the pull-off would mount and installed an NOS pull off in the factory location. I also ran a dummy vacuum hose from the pull off to the plug in the base where a nipple would be. I also have the factory choke well installed. I drilled a hole in the manual choke bracket and attached the choke well arm to that.

To the casual viewer it looks like a factory choke setup.

I can appreciate your work, and the wanting to stay correct look. But now you have the Edelbrock AVS2 badge, that is not so correct looking. The badge is the second thing I remove, on my Ede carbs. Really helps it look more like a Carter. There are 2 push pins that hold the badge in. Pry them out, and trash the badge.
