I don't know if this is useful or not. I ordered a 99' Ram 5.9 starter for my 340, when I got it I thought I would be able to get the female connector for the chassis side. After learning Mopar does not list it or carry it anymore and not wanting to crawl under a car/ truck at the junkyard, I did some searching on the internet. I learned that you can buy stud solenoid terminals as the Starter is a Denso OSGR and they came in many different styles across the different vehicles they fit.

I ordered :
76-82572 Terminal solenoid $2.16
66-82404 Gasket for solenoid $1.24
72-82100 Cover for leads $1.56

OK you lost me here. I do know that some of these starters are different, but what did you start with that you ended up with this? Are you sayin that the starter came with a push on connector?

Yes, came with the weather tight male connector( Delphi type). I looked and could not find the Female connector anywhere for it. I also checked Dodge and Jeep and the part is NLA and does not supersede.

OH very good!!! Goin' to have to (try) and remember this!!

bought some adapters from a member here that pulls those out to the outside a bit . still should cut the stud a bit , it sits in the soft plug area on my b's n rb's . for great starts the ground cable goes to the starter mounting as well .
