I kicked the motor over a couple of inches in the front and bingo, oil pump goes in with no problem. Has good clearance to the frame rail. So I put all the stuff on the engine and put the hood on. The breather clears the hood on an Offenhauser cast valve cover. So here it is all buttoned up. Only the headers are the hard part to do now and then we can start to put it all together. I was thinking next year, but now the fall looks possible.
