this is straight with only a couple of small dents on the top between the scoops.has one small rust hole near the front and 2 small holes on the underside.the top is not pitted and no bondo..scoops and bezels are new aftermarket.price is 450.00 and must be picked up in loganville,ga.30052.pm me if interested,thanks

it does not look like someone just drilled these holes.they are way to uniform.anyway,it is what is is.for sale,71 hood with scoops.thanks,kent

All of the factory hoods, scoops or not, had the access holes in the structure underneath and the clearance in the ribs for the 4-1/8” holes. Which means it’s pretty easy to locate about half of the holes. If you have the scoops then the rest of the holes are easy enough to transfer. I added scoops to my car, it was pretty straight forward. Someone did a good job, but that’s not a factory hood.
 
At least two reasons. First, it’s missing the 4-1/8” fresh air holes. Second, the holes for the studs look like they’re smaller than factory.

Hey...this picture of how to drill the holes is cool. I was bemoaning the fact that I could not find a template for drilling the holes and was resigned to stay with a plain hood. Any idea what I would use to cut the 4-1/8" holes?
