Just picked up this cool W100 Prospector!! 318 auto with air. Want to put some old school wheels and tires on it. Looking at the Cragar Nomad I’s in white. 15x8 wit 3.75 backspacing. I know 31x10.50s will work. What about 32x11.50s?

I have an 84 and my bolt pattern is a 5 on 5, so..... good luck hunting.
Not to be rude, so I'll just say; seen a lotta those wheels on trailers.......
Nice looking truck, needs nice looking wheels.
Do you know
that for every 1 inch in height, your tires will grow 3.1416 in roll out, and for every 10% more roll-out,yur truck will need 10% more gear, to keep the teener from feeling 10% smaller.
Just saying
From 28s to 32s is ~2 rear gear ratios to keep up. There is no other way to keep the take off power, except a bigger engine, or a lot more stall, and when you get to about 3000 stall, yur stock teener is about done.
Just in case you didn't know.

I ran 33 x 12.50 on my stock height 78 ram charger for a long time with no troubles.

11.5" tires on an 8" wheel isn't a good idea. The basic rule is the wheel is less than 3" narrower than the tire. The narrower the wheel, the wider the sidewalls will bulge & the better chance you have for rolling the tire off in a turn.

I have a cool set of Aluminum wheels with holes and not slots. But how could I get them to Tennessee? The shipping would be more than I want for the wheels. Similar to this only lbp 5 bolt and a deeper dish

I ended up ordering some 31x10.50 BFGs and the white spokes. I really wanted the period look on the truck. The spoke wheels were options and came on a lot of the Macho Trucks. We’ll see how it turns out. Thanks for the input

I always thought the factory optional turbine wheels were cool.

Run the style you like, those are period correct:) I have a 90 W-150 with stock suspension. Im running 285/75R16 all around on Ultra brand ((IIRC) 16x8 rims. Good fit on rim, sidewall bulge and there’s no rubbing on tight turns. Biggest tire I could fit on that size rim. The rims are 5x5 bolt pattern. Post some pics when you get em mounted:thumbsup:
