This is my tire hit with a low HP small block. M/T 14/32, 1.46 60’. Ladder bar suspension. This is at 8lbs.
Thoughts?

Let’s just say that I too run ladderbars and a 14-32 M/T slick but my best 60 foot had been 1.25 but usually 1.27-1.28 during the summer. In this picture I had 11 pounds of air in my slicks. I now run 12 pounds

The tire pressure all revolves around what pressure "your" car performs best with. In the Dakota, we ran between 7.5 & 11.5 depending upon conditions & how the track is prepped. Once we had brand new tires installed before the first T&T run, it almost stood on the back bumper with 8.5 in the tires. We upped the pressure for the next run & it settled it back down to our normal leave, front tires appx 2" off the ground, 1.57 60' running I/CM in Baton Rouge, LA.

Hoosiers are a nice sticky tire. As long as its hooking I would only mess with air to adjust reaction times. (If you are using a delay box then it does not matter)

Man, that is some Photoshop job !
Just kidding, ladder bars & 32 inch tires. What a set up, do you have any photos of the suspension? Dana 60 I'm guessing too?

Sorry I don’t have any good pictures but hope to have if up on my EZ lift pulling the engine in a few weeks. Then I can get some good pictures. Yes it a 4.88 geared Dana rear with very old strut type shocks. I changed out the old ladder bars five years ago and replaced them with double adjustable ones so I don’t have to unhook anything to make changes. This car was built long ago and had an old Capri strut system in the front with almost zero adjustment. A buddy changed it over to a single adjustable Strange strut. This car ran 11.80’s when I bought it with an Edelbrock headed 360 and .510 purple shaft cam at 2550 pounds. Now it weights 2880 and has gone 9.42@138mph.

Yeah it's totally badass, Also wanted to thank you again for some of the helpful ideas you've told me in the last couple months for my build. 1970 471 dart
