Just a different orientation of the levers on the trans that the rods connect to if you want the overdrive as your fourth shift position.

I found these
 
I had A body close ratio 4 speed rods in needed to use on an A833 O/D trans . The 3/4 rod had to be lengthened about 1.5"

You know i found the pics and didn't look close at them. I looked at brewers and they showed a rod set but out of stock. I learned something, thank you.
 
Well I just need the one rod then and A shifter and handle and I can actually drive my damn car LOL
