I have a 63 Valiant that i put a 273 with Doug's header's on it and having trouble putting the torsion bar's back in it,How is the best way to get them back in.Did anybody else have trouble with them.Thank's for any help.

Ive only done T bars once, it was recently on my 68 Barracuda. What's your issue, headers in the way now?

I just put mine back in the other day. I put some grease on both ends to make sure it was lubed dont use to much I made that mistake. Lower the lca as far as it will go and I took a rubber mallet and tapped the adjuster arm as low as it would go too. And I slid it in from the back side thru the crossmemeber first then into the lca. It went about halfway in on it's on then I used a socket and a hammer on the back side again to gently tap it the rest if the way.

I assume you're referring to getting the torsion bars in with the headers already installed. Well, that's not going to happen without partially removing the headers. You can slip the header tubes over the torsion bars once installed. It's a PIA but it can be done! 65'

Yea installed the motor and headers without the torsion bars in it thought it would be easier to,But i tried to put them back yesterday and the right side seem's like it hit's the header just enough to where it won't go in i have not done the driver side yet will it go back or will i have to take it loose to it was a job to get it on took me 3 day to do the driver side with no help,And also when i turn the wheels the tie rod end hits the driver side header is that because the suspension is down or will i have to dent it a little to keep it from hitting,THANK'S FOR YOUR HELP.
